What we did...
Commissioned by the Bearsden Festival, Danny and Max from Next Take ran a filmmaking project for young people in Bearsden. The project was designed to not only teach people through the process, but create a short film from start to finish over a five day block.
We assigned two days to pre-production, two to editing and one to group editing. Starting with the story, the group decided to focus it on the impacts of social media through the perspectives of two characters. We wrote a script together, rehearsed the scenes and learned how to use the equipment before beginning our two days of production.

Reception
On the 15th June 2024, we premiered 'Connect' at a screening in Bearsden at New Kilpatrick Church Hall. The film was screened alongside a play 'Story of a Stone', also commissioned by the Bearsden Festival. The film is now available to watch online.
